SURRENDER: 1-Day Healing Workshop
Participant Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your participation in the SURRENDER 1-Day Healing Workshop, facilitated by Rhiannon Heins in collaboration with the Barefoot & Thriving Association and Intuitive Rebirth (“the Workshop Organiser”).

By registering and ticking the agreement box, you acknowledge that participation is voluntary and that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms below. These Terms apply internationally and are intended to be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted under applicable laws.

1. Event Overview
This is a 1-day immersive healing experience involving breathwork, energy work, emotional release, somatic practices, and spiritual exploration.

This workshop is not a certification or practitioner training and is not medical, psychological, psychiatric, or therapeutic treatment.

You participate voluntarily and accept full responsibility for your experience.

2. Health & Eligibility
By registering, you confirm that you are physically, emotionally, and psychologically fit to participate safely. You do not have a history of psychosis, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or other severe mental health conditions. This workshop is not suitable for individuals with these conditions. You have disclosed or will disclose any medical, psychological, emotional, or trauma-related conditions that may affect your participation. You understand that you are solely responsible for seeking medical, psychological, or therapeutic support as needed before, during, or after the workshop.

3. Therapeutic Physical Touch
The workshop may include gentle, intentional hands-on energy work offered by facilitators or, where appropriate, fellow participants. All touch is non-sexual, consensual, and offered for grounding, emotional support, or energetic facilitation only. If you do not consent to physical touch, you must notify the facilitators before or at the start of the event. If no objection is communicated, informed consent is assumed. You may withdraw consent at any time.

4. Herbal Tinctures
Optional herbal tinctures may be offered for energetic or emotional support. Use is entirely voluntary and at your own discretion and risk. The facilitator is not a licensed herbalist or healthcare provider, and no medical or therapeutic claims are made. You accept full responsibility for any effects arising from use or non-use.

5. Medical Treatment Consent
You consent to receiving first aid or emergency medical care if deemed necessary during the workshop. You agree that the Workshop Organiser and related parties are not responsible for the outcomes of such care, except where liability cannot legally be excluded or in cases of proven gross negligence or willful misconduct.

6. Privacy & Confidentiality
You agree to respect the confidentiality and vulnerability of all participants. You will not share personal stories or identifying information of others outside the workshop, nor record or distribute images, audio, or video without express consent. Breaches may result in immediate removal without refund and potential legal consequences.

7. Photo & Video Release
Photography, video, and/or audio recording may occur during the workshop. By registering, you grant the Workshop Organiser a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use your image, voice, or likeness in any media for promotional, educational, or archival purposes without compensation. If you do not wish to be recorded, you must notify the organiser in writing before the event. Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate your request but cannot be guaranteed.

8. Third-Party Providers
The Workshop Organiser may engage third-party providers including venues, accommodation, catering, or transport services. The Workshop Organiser is not liable for the acts, omissions, or services of any third-party providers.

9. Refund & Cancellation Policy
Tickets are non-refundable except where required by applicable consumer protection laws. Tickets may be transferred with written notice at least 48 hours prior to the event. If the organiser cancels, you will receive a refund or the option to transfer to a future event. No refunds are issued for voluntary withdrawal, early departure, or failure to disclose relevant health information.

10. Assumption of Risk
You understand that participation may involve inherent and unforeseeable risks, including physical discomfort, dizziness, fatigue, fainting, emotional distress, trauma activation, psychological responses, injury, illness, aggravation of existing conditions, and in rare cases serious outcomes including hospitalization or death. You knowingly, voluntarily, and expressly assume all risks, whether known or unknown, foreseeable or unforeseeable, arising from your participation.

11. Release, Waiver & Covenant Not to Sue
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you waive, release, and discharge the Workshop Organiser, Rhiannon Heins, Intuitive Rebirth, The Intuitive Rebirth Trust, Barefoot & Thriving Association, facilitators, assistants, employees, volunteers, contractors, venue owners, and affiliates (“Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, costs, or expenses, including those arising from ordinary negligence, related to your participation. You agree not to initiate or participate in any legal claim against the Released Parties, except where such rights cannot legally be waived.

12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or legal fees arising out of your participation, your breach of these Terms, or any claims brought by third parties related to your actions.

13. Force Majeure
The Workshop Organiser is not liable for cancellations or changes due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, illness, pandemics, government restrictions, travel disruptions, or venue unavailability. Where possible, events will be rescheduled or credits offered. Refunds are not guaranteed.

14. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, parties agree to first attempt informal resolution by contacting [email protected]. If unresolved, disputes will proceed to confidential mediation with a mutually agreed mediator. Legal proceedings may be initiated only if mediation fails. Public discussion of disputes, including on social media, is prohibited and may constitute defamation.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state or country in which the workshop is physically held, or where no mandatory local law applies, the laws of the organiser’s principal place of business. Any permitted legal proceedings shall be brought exclusively in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction. Nothing in this clause limits consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

16. Severability
If any provision of this agreement is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Acknowledgement & Consent
By ticking the agreement box, you confirm that you have read and understood this agreement, understand that you are giving up legal rights including the right to sue, consent to physical touch, herbal support, and emergency medical care as described, voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation, release the Workshop Organiser and all related parties from liability to the fullest extent permitted by law, grant permission for use of your image unless you opt out in writing, agree to maintain confidentiality and respectful conduct, and understand this workshop is not therapy, counselling, or medical treatment.
